New contributions from Standards and Architecture

I am in the Standards and Architecture Team of the ICT Branch, on the Enterprise Architecture side; with an interest in the practise of Enterprise Architecture in government - particularly in an All-of-Government and inter-agency collaboration contexts. I have recently developed a professional interest in Sustainable ICT (and ICT as an enabler of sustainable practices).

I also have a side interest in microformats. Microformats allow HTML/XHTML to be marked-up semantically. If you have the right kind of browser (and/or plug-in) you should be able to add me to your address book automatically using the details below.

  1. The “right browser (and/or plug-in)” might be:

    Firefox 2 + Operator
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4106

Firefox 3 - not sure, is it going to be part of the browser - anyone?

This will, over time, become a standard part of the Mozilla (Firefox browser and the rest) suite: http://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/Feature_Brainstorming:Microformat_Handling

    Internet Explorer 7 + ??? (anyone)

IE8 (currently beta) does some native micro format (”web slices”)
